Our journey began with a personal mission. After witnessing his mother’s unmet health needs, our founder and owner Peter Wilkes was determined to find a better way. In 1977, he opened a natural-supplement store co-op in Alberta, and by 1985, he launched New Roots Herbal, dedicated to creating the purest, most potent supplements possible.
